Client

A San Francisco-based next-gen consumer products firm providing food and beverage services across the US, building a comprehensive portfolio of brands within the market.

Business goal

The client’s team has partnered with an advisory board of food and beverage giants within a mission to build a breakthrough consumer packaged goods enterprise. The idea was to reform the stale market that loses its touch with consumers and urge big brands to regroup towards healthier goods options while the smaller environmentally aware producers are shielded from competition.

To capitalize on the opportunity to access their partners’ marketing channels, the client put their mind to creating a dashboard that pulls in unstructured and structured data from multiple sources like eCommerce platforms, Google trends, and more. Basically, the solution was supposed to be a standalone platform with a neat yet comprehensive interface where the client can query versatile data and toggle categories.

Having factored in AIS Novations’ experience in BI development and custom web solution engineering with a focus on the green economy segment, the client considered the team reliable enough to undertake the project. AIS sealed the deal by offering tech assistance during the transition phase to make sure the app setup and configuration went off without a hitch.

Challenge

Having delivered the solution’s web backend, front-end, and UI design executables and source code, the team also prepared a detailed acceptance checklist and calibrated the platform through its parameters, which helped seamlessly bring the app to live production environment.

The team has built an MVP of an omni-channel food and beverage data platform that helps launch health-oriented products and brands across numerous categories. The system is a web administration app with a mobile-responsive UI that supports multiple resolutions and devices while smoothly running across Windows and macOS platforms, along with Chrome browser for both.

By analyzing comprehensive stats — from market landscape and competitor sizing to retail sales revenue and business growth, the solution aids brands in gaining the insights needed to quickly bring the consumers the trending products.
