A US-based educational software engineering enterprise creating accessible and interactive products aimed at contributing to worldwide literacy, available for free.

The client was in the middle of an educational app development project already delegated to AIS Novations. As the process unfolded, they came up with yet another task they had stuck with an earlier contractor. The idea was to build a workflow control solution overcoming Atlassian Jira’s functional limitations, as they saw them.

Initially outsourced to an unreliable vendor, the project turned into a total mess due to poor quality of deliverables. The client’s hope was that our team could remove numerous inefficiencies, bring their product idea to life, and implement the solution as an automation tool for the parallel project.

Challenge

  • AIS Novations discovered massive discrepancies in the previous vendor’s engineering approach, with switching responsibilities and using low-trust tech services, among others. A dedicated web programming expert was issued with the product revamping and scaling.
  • Also, the client made up their mind to rethink the solution concept and introduced several critical change requests, right halfway through the major development stage. The AIS Novations expert did their best to closely align the platform with the new requirements while keeping up with the initial rollout timelines.

As a time- and cost-efficient yet robust all-in-one alternative to other task tracking software, the platform ensures autonomous internal processes governance and uncompromised progress transparency. The solution allows to quickly block the processes that hamper the overall workflow goals.
